Messenger Diaper Bag on Steroids!

A few months back, Kirsten (my sister-in-law) explained to me what she wanted in a diaper bag. I made a prototype and sent it to her. She told me what she liked and disliked. I went to work on making a final draft. And here it is.

She wanted pockets on the outside with flaps over them.

Then I made cup/bottle holders on the sides.

It has a big inside compartment with LOTS of pockets. Two of which are zipper pockets.

It has one shoulder strap that can go on your shoulder or around your neck.

Fun Wall Art

I went to an Uppercase Living party back in June and got a few expensive stickers (I think the official name is expressions) to put on my wall. However, I'm cheap and decided to put them on boards instead of directly on the wall so that I can move them if I want.

I decided to do my own party in September. I used their program online and came up with designs for each of my kids' names. I finally got around to putting them together. This time instead of using wood, I used painter's canvases. I think they turned out great.

Wendy's Diaper Bag

I love this fabric and it was fun to come up with the embellishments. I also made a matching diaper changing pad and a matching bag for her daughter.

Amy's Bags

My friend Amy wanted me to make her a couple of bags. She picked out the fabric. I think they turned out great. I really like the embellishments (i.e. rick rack, buttons, interior fabric, etc.)

Family Stockings

Now I need to figure out a stocking for Caelyn. Any ideas for a girly head?

Centerpieces

I didn't sew these, but I did put them together.

Diaper Bags

Melanie McKirdy taught me how to make these diaper bags.
